Germany qualifies for last-16 with 2-0 win over Hungary
Musiala and Gundogan score as Germany books place in knockout stage
Stuttgart, Germany - Germany qualified for the last-16 of Euro 2024 with a 2-0 win over Hungary at the MHP Arena in Stuttgart on Wednesday.
Jamal Musiala put Germany ahead in the 23rd minute, and Ilkay Gundogan doubled the lead in the 52nd minute.
The win moves Germany to the top of Group A with six points, while Hungary remains bottom of the group with zero points.
Germany will face England in the last-16 on Tuesday, June 25, while Hungary will face France on the same day.
